You know the routine: search the same model, scroll past unrelated listings, check the asking price, then open sold comparisons to see whether there is a margin. Kestrel brings those steps together inside Profit Prophet.

A watchlist that does some of the work

Save a product watch. Kestrel checks matching Vinted candidates against completed eBay sales in the relevant region. Qualifying opportunities show the asking price, the sold evidence and the estimated margin, with a link to the original listing.

It also records rejected candidates. That means you can see recent checks and why a listing did not pass, rather than wondering whether a quiet watch is doing anything.

Make your watch useful

  1. Choose something you understand. A specific model gives you a stronger starting point than a broad term such as “console”.
  2. Use the available regional lane. Kestrel keeps the watch, currency and sold evidence together. The trial stays in the region where you started it.
  3. Check activity and notifications. Not every listing will qualify. The activity view explains what was checked and rejected; phone notifications need to be enabled.
  4. Inspect before buying. Review condition, authenticity, the seller and your own costs. Estimated margins are not guaranteed profit.

What is included now?

This launch focuses on Vinted monitoring. It does not include Facebook Marketplace or eBay listing monitoring. Completed eBay sales are used as valuation evidence.

Kestrel is a separate add-on. Its three-day, one-watch trial is different from the seven-day trial on Profit Prophet paid plans. Existing app versions may still display the older beta label while the wording update moves through the app stores; the live trial terms are the same.
